with multiple disks. It really doesn't hurt anything. One of my favorite games was Shenmue for the Dreamcast and it was, I think, 3 discs. It didn't ruin my experience and I never lost a disc. (If you lose 1 disc of three, your no more worse off than losing the one disc of a single disc game. That's a foolish argument.)
On the other hand, I wish MS would swallow their pride and upgrade to a bigger DVD. It would probably make things much better.

Halo has been out longer than any of those games and the fact that it can hit the top spot with no new DLC is amazing. It's the best MM experience out and if you argue that, you don't know what your talking about.

some of you understand the importance of Black Friday. It kicks off the holiday buying season (in America) and is a good way to predict how the holiday sales will go. Believe me, Sony isn't happy about this news.

Reporting on a rumor doesn't mean he's saying it's real. He's reported on many "rumors" that turned out to be true. The dude loves his PS3 and the only time he says actual semi-negative things about Sony, the Sony fans destroy him. I don't get it. He says negative things about 360 and I, as a 360 fan, don't get all pissy. Get a grip people.
It's a show you can CHOOSE to watch. No one forces you. I tend not to watch most of the time unless I want to hear some good rumors...

how this is a huge issue. All of those games, with the exception of Crackdown, aren't any good. The NXE was an add-on. Did you really expect the install to work with every, single game? It really hurts nothing. The install to the HDD is a little gimmicky to begin with. It only gives minor improvements to a game.

it's all just a huge conspiracy by the developers to make the PS3 look bad. Come on now, let's use some common sense. I don't know why sometimes the 360 version looks slightly better, but there's no conspiracy like your implying. Matter of fact, I doubt many games that are cross-platform are really that horribly different from each other. (between 360 and PS3 that is.)
but I don't agree completely. Sales of a console don't affect the exclusives nearly as much as the money a company like MS or Sony is willing to pay for that exclusivity. Sure, maybe sales affect certain things but in all reality, no one is going to completely dominate this generation of consoles. Especially because of exclusives. Each company has too much money to throw around for that to happen. Sure the Wii is outselling everything while MS and Sony fight for spot number 2, but no one will...
I am a 360 fan so he was technically talking to me. That's beside the point though. I understand what he's getting at but that doesn't change the fact that console sales are pointless, especially to us. He went off on a tangent because people said the PS3 outselling the 360 in Japan wasn't big news. His point is valid but unneeded and came from nowhere, especially in the context of what was being talked about.

Maybe you should explain your copy cat comments. Single player in Gears 2 is actually quite enjoyable. Have you played it? I'll guess no, and if you did, it was only for a few minutes at a friends house. Gears is by no means a bad game.
is what feels like CoD4.5. I haven't played campaign, but from what I hear, it's better than CoD4. But since CoD4 was fairly good, I guess number 5 can't be bad.
is flawed. Anyone who states otherwise is lacking in mental capacity. I, for one, had tons of fun playing Gears 2. The single player is way better than the first and I've found matchmaking gets better with time. Getting into a match gets quicker or at least it did for me. Sure it's not super innovative or new but it's fun and that's what I look for.
People have varied opinions on everything. No biggie, but the overly blind, biased people get rather annoying. Chill out guys.
